Day 01

Colombo Airport - Negombo

Warm welcome at Bandaranaike International Airport followed by a short drive to Negombo; unwind by the beach or hotel pool.

Day 02

Negombo – Pinnawala – Sigiriya

Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to enjoy feeding and bathing elephants, then transfer to Sigiriya in the cultural  triangle.

Day 03

Sigiriya – Habarana

Early climb to Sigiriya Rock Fortress; afternoon filled with a bullock cart ride, catamaran boat trip, and traditional village lunch; parents can opt for Ayurvedic head massage.

Day 04

Sigiriya – Dambulla – Matale – Kandy

Visit the colorful Dambulla Cave Temple; stop at Matale spice garden; evening Kandyan dance show in Kandy.

Day 05

Kandy

Explore Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, stroll around Kandy Lake or take a paddle boat ride, and visit the Temple of the Tooth.

Day 06

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Scenic train ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya, visit a tea factory and enjoy family activities such as swan boats and pony  rides at Gregory Lake.

Day 07

Nuwara Eliya – Ella

Travel to Ella via Ramboda Falls; visit Nine Arches Bridge and stroll Little Adam’s Peak, an easy hike for families; relax at a  mountain-view lodge.

Day 08

Ella – Yala

Drive to Yala with optional pool or garden playtime at the safari lodge.

Day 09

Yala – Mirissa

Morning jeep safari to spot elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and possibly a leopard; afternoon drive to Mirissa Beach.

Day 10

Mirissa – Galle

Relax on the beach; optional whale watching cruise during season or day trip to Galle Fort for colonial charm and ice  cream stops.

Day 11

Galle – Departure

Travel to Bandaranaike Airport via scenic southern expressway with an optional stop at Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery.
